History and Milestones
Our Founder and Inspirational Leader C. C. Without the story of Surana, the story of Micro Labs Limited cannot be ascertained.
He started out humble from a pharmaceutical distributor in Bangalore. Shri devoted to his years of valuable experience and hard work. Surana started a marketing and distribution agency for a pharmaceutical company in Delhi. The agency handled the distribution of medicines for the southern states of India.
Micro Labs Private Limited was established at Madras (now known as Chennai) at 3 at3. The micro lab had also begun a decent start with the preparation of ethical pharmaceuticals. Mr. Surana's perseverance and leadership were to lead the micro lab from its secondary beginnings to its ultimate success and a shining star in the pharmaceutical industry.
Demand for high quality drug products increased in the 80s. In order to meet the increasing demand, a second manufacturing facility was inaugurated in Hosur, Tamil Nadu in June 2-22. With the growing success of Micro Labs, Shri. Surana was awarded Brown & Burke Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Complex, Hosur Ltd.
As the business grows, Micro Lab has launched a new manufacturing unit - Micro Nova Pharmaceutical Pvt - to meet growing demand in the 90s. Ltd. Ltd., at Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore. August 5th. In 1999. Pondicherry established a new unit under the head of Micro Labs Limited.
Micro Labs has strengthened its position as an industry leader in the past few years. In October 2000, the pharmaceutical company purchased and relocated a non-functioning unit in the Kumblegadu Industrial Area on Mysore Road. The unit currently manufactures continuous medications.
In January 3, an automated plant specializing in handling only penicillin-based products began production in the Bonmasandra industrial area. In the summer of that year, Micro Lab inaugurated a new facility in Goa Industrial Area. This is a formulation plant approved by the US FDA. The plant consists of four units that meet the micro lab's export requirements. Of the units, the first unit began production in November 2004, producing various oral solid dosage forms of cephalosporins.
Micro Labs ltd is proud to unveil a state-of-the-art ophthalmic manufacturing plant in the Asia-Pacific region. This plant is designed solely to create spectacular products. And because of this extravagance of the plant, the company has taken the company to the Asia Pacific market with the company's strategic partnership with world-renowned eye care company Bash + Lomb. This collaboration will result in joint research and development of ophthalmic and drug products, especially for emerging markets.
In addition we have a new state-of-the-art facility at Sikkim.
Milestones
Today Micro Lab is a multidisciplinary organization with an annual turnover of Rs. 920 crore. The company's brightest stars are 14 oral formulation plants with an injection unit; Large drug facilities, overseas offices and strong distribution networks. Our marketing efforts are in 20 sections, and each subdivision caters to different therapeutic departments.
The most important element of the organization, however, is its 9200 dedicated staff.
Micro Labs is ready to underline our country's growing reputation by becoming a respected global brand in the pharmaceutical sector with state-of-the-art facilities and international standards.
The company today has 20 marketing departments in the department for leading treatment of Cardiology, Diabetology, Pain Management, Dermatology, Veterinary, Neurology etc.
